ABOUT US
Fashion dolls are dolls primarily designed to be dressed to reflect fashion trends.
They are manufactured both as toys for children to play with and as collectibles for adult collectors.
The dolls are usually modeled after teen girls or adult women, though child, male, and even some non-human variants exist.
They are typically made of vinyl or another plastic.
We have been involved with small dolls for over 15 years. Fashiondollsaustralia.com has been operating since 2005.
Fashion dolls, particularly those from Japan, have enjoyed a popularity probably never before seen in the world.
The resurgence of the Blythe Doll with its moon face and oversized eyes, sent photographers and dress makers
in a spin. No matter how she is dressed or photographed, she can evoke senses in everybody - especially those
uncomfortable with her disproportionate anatomy.
The Pullip is arguably prettier and since her introduction in 2003, has found a soft spot in doll lovers and collectors all over the world.
Pullip has gone through many trials and tribulations: poor manufacturing quality, defaults in body parts and material,
manufacturer going bankrupt in Japan, and too many editions to the range (Pullip, Dal, Byul, Taeyeng, Namu, Little Pullip, Little Pullip+, Little Dal, J-Doll, Angel Dal, Angel Pullip and BJD Ai Doll, etc). But look into her eyes - they will speak to you, put her in a new dress and she will delight you, give her a mate and watch her personality develop.
Fashion dolls are an icon of the era and a valuable contribution to our society. Should you opt to collect them they will wait patiently in their box and look out at the world. Open the box, let them free, they will enrich your space, learning and existence. Talk to them and you will get back more than you ever imagined from a doll.
Fashion Dolls Australia stock over 200 dolls with new editions arriving monthly.

2010 Fashion Dolls Australia introduced the exciting new edition to the Blythe range - Middie Blythe.
2011 Fashion Dolls Australia introduce the long awaited new edition to the Pullip family. Pullips baby brother- Isul.
2011 Fashion Dolls Australia introduce a selection from the Azone International Pureneemo Character doll series.
2012 Fashion Dolls Australia introduce a selection from the Good Smile Company PVC figure series - Nendoroid, Nendoroid Petite & 1/8 scale PVC figures.
Fashion Dolls Australia monitor the market value of all dolls monthly and do not under value the doll by selling on ebay or at ridiculously low prices.
We wish to maintain the long term value of each doll and do not undermine its collector or resale potential.
NOTE. The past 2 years has spawned many new Ebay sellers offering Pullips/Blythe/Nendoroids at low prices - often their items are inferior quality products (especially wigs & stock) which will not hold a premium collector value.
Today, there are many fake or bootleg versions comng out of China. They are packaged in identical boxes (markings, colour, patterns, logos, etc) to the original manufacturer making them very hard to distinguish from the original real item. Online shopping provides easy access to global buyers for bootlegs - when you purchase bootleg items no value is returned to the artistic creator or licensed manufacturer.
While it is impossible to know the condition of any doll in the box, we do inspect to the best of our ability for defects before posting. And offer refunds in the event of defects being discovered within a reasonable amount of time.
It is not always possible to replace the doll with another identical one. This is especially so of limited release editions.
Fashion Dolls Australia carry a limited range of Obitsu bodies. Our service involves body changing and repairs.
Fashion Dolls Australia are continually adding interesting photographs of dolls to our website.
Fashion Dolls Australia have created a group on Flickr specially for doll owners in Australia to post photos of their dolls.
While it would be convenient to have a shop front, this massive cost can not be justified at this stage.
Fashion Dolls Australia is an online store only.
Our item pricing is linked to market prices in Japan. Most of our dolls are sourced from Japan.
We introduce a payment by installment (PayPal Secure) on all items. Payment by installment buttons are being installed during 2012, should you wish to take advantage of this service, please email your request with the amount and period you wish to pay.
Discounts for combined shipping are refunded via PayPal after purchase, allowing a more extact charge.
If this is not suitable please contact us before purchase for an estimate.
Fashion Dolls Australia are located at Tweed Heads on the southern end of the Gold Coast.
Detailed photographs of each doll are available.
